Job summary

Albany Medical College is actively recruiting an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to join the Division of Endocrinology. The role combines clinical care with education for students, residents and fellows in a tertiary referral center.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/board eligibility in Endocrinology.
• Strong commitment to education and teaching.
• Prepared to work in a team‑oriented, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology).
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Provide education to students, residents and fellows as part of the division.
• Collaborate with a strong diabetes education team (CDCES).
• Utilize an ultrasonography suite for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs.
• Focus on multidisciplinary approaches to patient care and research.
• Opportunity to work in specific areas of endocrinology (e.g., thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, transgender medicine).
