Job summary

The Division of Endocrinology at Albany Medical College is recruiting an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. You will be active in clinical care and provide education to students, residents and fellows, with opportunities to focus on areas such as thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, and transgender medicine.

Responsibilities include leading bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences, collaborating with a diabetes education team (CDCES), and teaching across the education

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/board eligibility in Endocrinology
• Strong commitment to education and teaching
• Must be prepared to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment

Responsibilities

• Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology)
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
• Collaborate with a strong diabetes education team (CDCES)
• Utilize an ultrasonography suite for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs
• Engage in education for students, residents, and fellows
• Work in specific areas of endocrinology (e.g., thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, transgender medicine)
