Job summary

UPMC Magee in Pittsburgh, PA seeks an experienced Clinical Laboratory Geneticist to join as Laboratory Director at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level within the Cytogenetics Laboratories. The role includes analysis, interpretation, reporting of karyotyping, FISH, microarray and OGM in oncologic, prenatal, and postnatal specimens.

The successful candidate will assist the Medical Director in operations, supervise staff, and develop in-house assays while participating in teaching and research

Qualifications

• MD/DO or PhD in Biology that are ABMGG-Certified or eligible for LGG or Cytogenetics.
• Priority for cytogenetic oncology experience and/or Optical Genome Mapping development.
