Job summary

Berklee College of Music is seeking an Academic Coach for the Accessibility Resources for Students (ARS) office to provide guidance and learning strategies for students with disabilities. The role focuses on identifying barriers, developing plans, and equipping students with skills for long-term academic success.

The position involves individual coaching sessions, coordination with on-campus resources, and occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Current enrollment in a graduate-level program (Master’s, graduate certificate, or post-baccalaureate) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts academic coaching through individual sessions.
• Assists students with disabilities in developing executive functioning skills.
• Guides students in navigating Berklee and Accessibility Resources processes.
• Advises students on alternative format and assistive technologies.
• Tracks progress of students on their caseload and maintains confidential records.
