Posting Summary	The Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level in the Section of Microbiology in the Division of Clinical Pathology. The section is responsible for microbiology pathology laboratory services at University Hospital, a 519-bed tertiary care teaching hospital. The primary responsibilities include oversight of the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory, leadership of staff, and collaboration with healthcare providers. The candidate will participate in training residents, fellows, and students. Experience with CAP accreditation and molecular microbiology is desirable. A strong academic record and research proposals are preferred.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience	An MD, DO, MBBS, or PhD with board certification or eligibility in AP/CP or Microbiology. Academic rank and salary depend on qualifications. Women and diverse candidates are encouraged to apply.
