Dell Medical School in Austin, TX, seeks a board certified/board eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our outpatient clinical team as part of a dynamic academic department. The physician will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for pediatric patients, participate in CPWE initiatives, and collaborate with Seton healthcare partners.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas or ability to obtain prior to appointment.
• Board certified in general psychiatry and board-certified or board-eligible in child and adolescent psychiatry.
• Eligible for credentialing and privileging by Ascension Seton and local mental health authority.
• Eligible for appointment as an assistant professor or higher in the Department of Psychiatry.
• Demonstrated leadership, teaching, evaluation, and communication skills.
• Innovative self-starter with commitment to excellence.
• Ability to lead, direct, and influence a team and work collaboratively.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical care to pediatric patients, evaluating and treating a broad spectrum of mental health challenges in outpatient settings and via telemedicine.
• Provide psychiatric care to children and adolescents as part of CPWE program and collaborate with Seton healthcare partners.
• Participate in educational activities with medical students and residents and pursue collaborative clinical programming and research.
• Work with Dell Children's Psychiatry Team for on-call coverage and hospital-based psychiatry activities.
• Document services promptly and maintain professional records; contribute to quality management and team meetings.
