Job summary

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology, is recruiting full-time faculty at any rank in general and preventive cardiology. Appointees will have clinical responsibilities including outpatient clinic, reading EKGs, and inpatient ward and consultative cardiology predominantly at our main campus and, if needed, at affiliated sites.

Responsibilities also include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity.

Qualifications

• Medical doctorate or equivalent is required.
• State licensure in Illinois or eligibility is required.
• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Cardiology is required.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic care and inpatient ward duties in cardiology.
• Read EKGs as part of patient evaluation.
• Provide consultative cardiology services and supervise trainees.
• Engage in teaching and scholarly activity.
