Job summary

California State University, Sacramento is seeking a Budget and Personnel Analyst to serve as the primary fiscal and personnel resource for the Arts & Letters departments. Working with department chairs and the college dean’s office, you will oversee budgets across multiple funds and manage contracts for faculty, staff, and contractors.

This role directs administrative staff, reconciles workloads with allocations, reviews travel reimbursements and purchase orders, and helps ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Experience administering complex budget, personnel, or related administrative functions.
• Experience evaluating alternatives and making practical recommendations.
• Strong knowledge of budget administration and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets across multiple funds including stateside, auxiliary and scholarship funds.
• Oversee personnel contracts for faculty, staff, and contractors and maintain personnel files.
• Coordinate with ALS Mendocino Administrative Staff Hub and college leadership on fiscal and contractual accountability.
• Reconcile workloads with contracts and reassigned time; review travel reimbursements and procurement reconciliations.
