Job summary

OHSU is seeking a Finance and Accounting Analyst 2 to deliver financial analytic services for the academic mission. The role supports forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and consolidation across special projects, working with the Senior Director of Budget & Finance and project leads.

The position emphasizes accuracy, timely reporting, and collaboration with multiple departments; candidates should show GAAP proficiency, excel skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with computers, databases, and spreadsheets.
• Understanding GAAP and financial reporting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage expenditures and tracking for Special Projects/Initiative Funding with project leads.
• Prepare monthly financial reports with variance analysis and re-forecasts.
• Assist in annual budgets, including operating and capital budgets and forecasts.
• Handle general accounting duties: LD, PO prep, journal entries, reconciliations, A/P, A/R, Pcard.
• Provide oral and written financial advice to Senior Director, Budget & Finance and project leads.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
