Job summary

The Oregon Health Authority seeks a Fiscal Analyst 2 in Salem to support the Budget Planning and Analysis Unit with budget monitoring, forecasting, and policy analysis focused on health equity. This hybrid role requires strong financial acumen and collaboration with leadership and staff to ensure revenues and expenditures align with the agency mission.

Responsibilities include data provision for top officials and delivering high-quality financial narratives.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressively responsible experience in budget or fiscal systems.
• Five years of professional-level experience in accounting, fiscal auditing, management or program analysis with forecasting.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for three years of experience.
• Graduate degree may substitute for four of the five years.

Responsibilities

• Support Budget Planning and Analysis Unit with budget monitoring and forecasting.
• Analyze financial data and provide reports to agency leadership and stakeholders.
• Contribute to policy analysis on health equity and financial impacts of proposed policies.
• Demonstrate deep expertise on programs and budgets within the agency.
