Responsibilities

• Full range of perioperative care including preoperative optimization, intraoperative management, and postoperative care.
• Ability to perform anesthesia for cardiothoracic surgeries such as CABGs, valve replacements, and lobectomies with mentorship as needed.
• Provide anesthesia for subspecialties including cardiothoracic, vascular, urology, gynecology, ENT, ophthalmology, general surgery, orthopedics, and more.
• CRNA/resident supervision with some cases personally performed by the anesthesiologist.
• Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care to veterans.
