Albany Med Health System's Albany Medical College seeks an Internal Medicine-trained allergist-immunologist for appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor. Board certified or eligible, with interest in clinical care, teaching, and research, in a combined adult and pediatric allergy/immunology practice at Albany Medical Center.

The role includes inpatient consultations, collaboration with multiple specialties, education of students, residents, and fellows, and opportunities to participate in

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an Internal Medicine residency.
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Allergy & Immunology fellowship.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Allergy & Immunology.

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient Allergy & Immunology consultation services for adult and pediatric patients.
Evaluate and manage the full spectrum of allergic and immunologic disorders.
Perform and supervise allergy testing, immunotherapy, and drug desensitization.
Collaborate with multiple specialties across the health system.
