• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Allergy & Immunology fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Allergy & Immunology.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in New York State.
• DEA certification.
• Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine and interdisciplinary collaborationism Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient Allergy & Immunology consultation services for adult and pediatric patients.
• Evaluate and manage spectrum of allergic and immunologic disorders.
• Perform and supervise allergy testing, oral food and medication challenges, allergen immunotherapy, and drug desensitization.
• Collaborate with Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Infectious Disease, Rheumatology, Hematology/Oncology, Otolaryngology, Emergency Medicine, Pharmacy, and other specialties.
• Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and Allergy & Immunology fellows.
• Participate in education and mentorship of Allergy & Immunology fellows.
• Develop and present educational lectures, conferences, and grand rounds.
• Participate in scholarly activities, including clinical research, quality improvement, publications, and presentations.
• Contribute to curriculum development and other educational activities within the division.
