Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
  • One year of experience in a student success or support related role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality academic advising services to current and prospective students.
  • Develop multi-semester degree planning following major curriculum guidelines.
  • Connect students with appropriate academic and non-academic student services and document advising sessions.
  • Meet formally with students to develop meaningful connections.
  • Attend advising sessions for new and incoming students, including orientations.
  • Participate in college or institutional student success initiatives.
  • Utilize reports/analytics to inform advising activity and student success metrics.
  • Coordinate unit-level communication on milestones, deadlines, and resources.
  • Monitor retention, progression, and graduation for assigned student populations.
