Responsibilities

• Maintain direct and proactive contact with student advisees.
• Convey curriculum, course sequencing, registration, and financial responsibilities.
• Monitor program outcomes for compliance with the Official College Catalog.
• Teach and model decision‑making and problem solving to help students become self‑advocates.
• Schedule regular campus visits to engage with students and build relationships.
• Utilize advisement theories to improve student readiness and outcomes.
• Maintain relationships with admissions, financial aid and faculty.
• Uphold processes and programs supporting student cohorts.
• Support curricular and co‑curricular involvement through referrals and opportunities.
• Participate in orientation and other student services duties as assigned.
• Maintain knowledge of advisement practices through professional associations.
