Job summary

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach seeks a Transfer Academic Evaluator to support prospective and current transfer students. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, organizational management, communication, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of related work experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and initiative, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with computers, email/internet, Microsoft applications and imaging systems.
  • Knowledge of accepted practices at higher education institutions and academic policies, procedures, standards and curricula.
  • Familiarity with non-traditional sources of college-level advanced standing credit, including ACE military credit recommendations and CLEP/DANTES.
  • Experience advising or interacting with students and troubleshooting student issues.
  • Familiarity with Registrar's Office operations and industry best practices.
  • Ability to work weekend or evening hours as needed during peak periods.

Job Description

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) seeks a student-centered, detail-oriented Transfer Academic Evaluator to support prospective and current transfer students at our Daytona Beach Campus. Reporting to the Associate Registrar, this position serves as a primary resource for transfer credit evaluation and helps students understand how previously completed coursework may apply toward an Embry-Riddle degree. The Transfer Academic Evaluator serves as a primary point of contact for the EAB Transfer Portal, providing course equivalency determinations and academic degree information to prospective students. This role evaluates progress toward degree completion, educates pre-applicant students on academic programs, policies and procedures, and supports excellence in student service throughout the transfer process. In this role, you will maintain accurate transfer course equivalencies and student information system data, collaborate closely with Admissions and technical teams, and identify opportunities to improve processes and functionality.

  • Update individual Academic Advising Reports (AAR) based on program or catalog changes, advanced standing or placement, course substitutions, equivalency exams and flight certificates.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this role is up to $43,888. The final offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs, and may fall outside of the stated range.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with various software solutions and/or implementing software solutions.
  • Previous experience with SIS Campus Solutions.
