The University of North Texas is seeking a full-time Academic Advisor for the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences in Denton. The advisor will promote student success, progression, and timely graduation, maintain student records, and present at informational workshops for students.

This position serves as a full-time academic advisor for the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. Advisors will work to promote student success, progression, and timely graduation. They also keep student records up to date, present at informational workshops for students and assist with events such as Preview Day and Commencement.
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in student affairs, student services, counseling, or professional academic advising.
Bachelor's degree plus 2 years working directly with students in an advising capacity.
Communicating with others to exchange information.
Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
Moving self in various positions to perform tasks in tight and confined spaces.
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
