Job summary

Brigham Young University’s CFAC Advisement Center seeks an experienced Assistant Supervisor to provide academic advisement to a large student cohort and to mentor office staff. You will support students’ progression, refer to campus resources, and represent CFAC at campus events.

Role emphasizes inclusive service, budget awareness, and ongoing professional development within a faith-centered university environment in Provo, UT.

Qualifications

• Provide academic advisement to ~700 students in one-on-one interactions.
• Focus on professional, compassionate, and inclusive service in advising and teaching.
• Lead assessment efforts and supervise office staff.

Responsibilities

• Advise students with professional theory and methods.
• Represent CFAC at Major Fair, New Student Orientation, and university events.
• Manage and mentor office staff and student employees.
• Oversee budget and budgeting processes; participate in committees.
• Act as Salesforce power user and participate in Salesforce Advisory Group.
• Provide administrative support to the advisement center supervisor and advisors.
