University of Georgia in Athens seeks an Academic Advising Manager to lead the School of Social Work's advising team and oversee three advisors across Athens, Gwinnett and Online programs to ensure high-quality, student-centered advising.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and extensive supervisory, policy interpretation and data-analysis skills to support student retention and degree completion in a complex, multi-campus environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years of professional experience and supervisory background.
• Experience leading academic advising teams and aligning services to student success.
• Strong knowledge of university policies and degree requirements.

Responsabilités

• Directly supervise three academic advisors across campus sites and online programs.
• Develop and maintain advising standards, procedures, workflows and service expectations.
• Coordinate advising processes for course scheduling, degree progression and graduation clearance.
• Monitor student progression and retention and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with program directors, faculty, and university offices to support student success.
