Job summary

Gestalt Community Schools in Tennessee seeks an Academic Acceleration and School Improvement Supervisor to partner with the School Leader on turnaround efforts. You will coach teachers and coaches, align literacy, numeracy, RTI, and MTSS with district priorities, and monitor progress toward the School Improvement Plan.

You will lead PLCs, data reviews, and professional learning to strengthen instructional practice and student outcomes across classrooms.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience with demonstrated Level 4-5 effectiveness and documented success in accelerating student achievement.
Minimum of three (3) years of instructional coaching, school leadership, dean, or comparable leadership experience preferred.
Experience leading school improvement, academic turnaround, or continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Serve as the School Leader's strategic partner in planning, implementing, and monitoring the School Improvement Plan.
Lead the implementation of academic acceleration initiatives in Literacy, Numeracy, and RTI/MTSS as directed by leadership.
Provide differentiated coaching to teachers, Deans of Instruction, and Instructional Coaches based on data and professional learning needs.
Develop and facilitate high-quality PLCs, instructional planning sessions, and data meetings aligned to school priorities.
Monitor formative, benchmark, and summative data to guide acceleration strategies and intervention effectiveness.
