Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality seeks an Engineer Supervisor for AC Hotel Atlanta Downtown. You will lead the maintenance team, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure guest comfort and safety while controlling costs.

You will drive preventative maintenance, train staff, supervise contractors, and act as on-site emergency contact. The role emphasizes safety, service quality, and efficient energy use in a dynamic hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a maintenance team and manage daily operations.
• Experience coordinating preventative maintenance programs and guest-request response.
• Strong emphasis on safety, training, scheduling, and cost control.
• Knowledge of CPR, first aid, and food-handling safety standards.
• Ability to evaluate contractor work and ensure quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, repairs, and ensure guest satisfaction while controlling costs.
• Inspire, train, and schedule the engineering team; lead safety inspections and drills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance and high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
• May be required to work weekends, holidays, and be available for emergencies.
• Comply with certification requirements (Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, First Aid).
• Experience in training, supervising, and motivating staff.
• Ability to evaluate and spot check work of staff and contractors.
