Job summary

FLANDERS is seeking an AC/DC Motor Technician II in Longview, TX to disassemble, inspect, repair, test, and reassemble basic to moderately complex AC/DC motors and electromechanical equipment.

Responsibilities include reading work scopes, following ISO standards, wiring diagram interpretation, safe operation of testing equipment, and providing outstanding customer service while maintaining quality control throughout the repair process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of mechanical (AC/DC motor) experience.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow instructions.
• Safety procedures and ISO standards knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, test, and reassemble AC and DC motors.
• Read work scopes and determine job status and required authorizations.
• Properly document results and maintain paperwork for quality control.
• Operate electrical testing equipment up to 12,000 VDC as needed.
