Job summary

ABX AIR is seeking a Line Maintenance Representative to perform preventive maintenance, repairs and modifications on aircraft and related equipment in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures. The role involves travel for station coverage, training, and maintenance support, plus working outdoors in all weather and on-call duties.

The candidate will deice aircraft as needed, assist with GSE maintenance, and help ensure stations pass FAA and QA audits.

Qualifications

• Must have HSD/GED.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR background check.
• A&P License.
• 2 years experience in all phases of commercial transport aircraft.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot aircraft systems.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and evaluate structural damage.
• Ability to travel on company aircraft as required.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Good interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivation, integrity, cooperation, professionalism and leadership.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse conditions and wear safety PPE.
• Lift objects up to 75 lbs.
• Work at heights up to 60 ft.
• Ability to obtain SIDA Badge.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications on aircraft and related equipment.
• Coordinate with other departments; travel for station coverage and training.
• Maintain station manuals, parts and tooling inventory.
• Assist with aircraft deicing, snow removal, GSE maintenance and MXI work.
• Travel regionally to verify stations pass FAA and QA audits.
• Train new team members on paperwork, MXI and manuals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Line Maintenance Representative will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications and other line maintenance of aircraft, components and related equipment in accordance with specified manuals, procedures and FAA regulations; communicate with all departments within the company; travel for station coverage, training and other maintenance support: work outside in all types of weather; on-call as needed; assist Airport Planning/Properties with property and environmental issues; maintain station manuals, parts and tooling inventory; as needed aircraft deicing, snow removal, GSE maintenance, MXI work; travel regionally to verify stations will pass FAA and QA audits; travel regionally to train new team members on paperwork, MXI, manuals, etc.; perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
