Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Wet Utility Design Engineer in Abu Dhabi to deliver planned and detailed wet utility networks for infrastructure projects across the UAE. The role emphasizes design and authority approvals, covering water, sewer, irrigation, and drainage systems in line with local standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in an engineering consultancy focusing on wet utilities/infrastructure.
• Proven experience with UAE/GCC projects; direct Abu Dhabi authority experience is highly preferred.
• Membership or progress toward membership in a professional institution (e.g., ICE, CIWEM, ASCE) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling and CAD/BIM tools as listed.

Responsibilities

• Design wet utility systems including water, irrigation, sewerage, and stormwater networks.
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and schematics using CAD software.
• Develop hydraulic models to analyze system performance.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine project requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, design specifications, and BOQs.
• Ensure designs comply with local regulations and standards.
