Qualifications

• Master's degree in HR, Public Health, Business or related field with 4+ years' experience
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Public Health, or Business with 6+ years' experience
• Associate's degree with 7+ years' experience
• High School Diploma and 8–10 years' experience in HR leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead absence management team and oversee end-to-end absence programs
• Document and update absence policies and procedures
• Address escalated absence issues and drive timely resolutions
• Supervise staff, set performance expectations, and provide coaching
• Partner with Nurse Case Management and Employee Wellness Center
• Guide employees and managers on absence policies and procedures
• Coordinate NYS Paid Family Leave with relevant teams
• Collaborate with IT on absence reports and system enhancements
• Participate in projects and additional assignments
