Job summary

Pepper Source is a family-owned company that provides custom sauces, seasonings, and dry coating systems to major poultry companies in the United States. This Stacker/Sanitation role on the 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) offers hourly pay of $17.25 and requires lifting, standing, and sanitation responsibilities throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading pallets, counting and recording units, labeling, and assisting other positions.

Job description

Job Title: Stacker/Sanitation

Reports To: Department Supervisor

FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

2nd Shift

Hours: 3:00pm-11:30pm

Overtime required based on production need.

$17.25/hour

Loads pallets with finished product and verifies quantity, quality, and labeling of products ready for shipment, and sanitizes their work area by performing the following duties:

Other duties may be assigned.

• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets by hand.
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials.
• Assists other positions when needed.
• Cleans and sanitizes work area.
• Clean and sanitize room and prep for the next days production.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
