Job summary

Northbound Executive Search is seeking an ABS Investment Associate Director/Associate for a leading Midtown Manhattan asset manager on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office).

This investment role emphasizes strong Excel and Intex skills, evaluating ABS/CLO opportunities, and participating in all phases of the deal process to drive execution. You will lead term sheet negotiations and manage critical relationships across the team.

Qualifications

• 2-8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of structured credit fundamentals.
• Exceptional structuring/underwriting background and skilled in Excel and Intex.
• Experience analyzing loan agreements, negotiating covenants is a plus; credit structuring experience is a plus.
• Self-starter with high personal and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, source, structure, and execute investment opportunities across ABS/CLO landscape.
• Contribute to all phases of the investment process.
• Lead negotiation of term sheets and credit agreements.
• Interface with counterparties; build/develop relationships; manage deal flow and investment pipeline.
