Job summary

Staffmark Group in Abilene, TX is seeking a Branch Manager for direct hire to lead daily branch operations, coach tellers and new accounts staff, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role requires 5-7 years of retail banking experience with branch supervisory background and proficiency in MS Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5-7 years of retail banking experience, including branch management or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and retail banking operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and standard office software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Professional demeanor with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the branch lobby to ensure efficient, accurate, and customer-focused service.
• Supervise, coach, and develop Teller and New Account staff through ongoing training, performance evaluations, and regular feedback.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by building strong relationships and resolving customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist customers with opening and maintaining checking, savings, CDs, debit cards, and other retail banking products.
• Serve as a Personal Banker and paying/receiving Teller when needed to support branch operations.
• Identify opportunities to recommend and cross-sell banking products and services that meet customer needs.
• Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Monitor branch operations to maintain accuracy, security, and operational excellence.
• Partner with branch leadership to achieve sales, service, and operational goals.
• Complete additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by management.
