Job summary

Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. seeks an experienced fund finance professional to maintain revenue and profitability models, track actuals vs. forecast, and act as the primary data resource within ABF fund finance.

The role requires 5–7 years accounting/audit experience, strong data science acumen, and proficiency in Python, SQL and Power BI, with knowledge of alternative investments and staggered reporting cycles.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years accounting or audit experience, preferable with Big Four background.
• Demonstrated data science acumen in asset management or banking.
• Experience using Python, SQL and Power BI for analytics.
• Strong knowledge of alternative investments and accounting rules.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain revenue/profitability models; track actuals vs forecast.
• Serve as data/analytics resource for fund finance; support automation.
• Participate in monthly/quarterly close and cash management activities.
• Prepare and review complex management fee and waterfall calculations.
• Coordinate with auditors, custodians, prime brokers and fund admins.
• Prepare financial reports and KPI analyses for partnerships/accounts.
