Job summary

Sylvania in Blaine, MN is hiring an Adult Basic Ed Literacy Assistant - Data Support for the Blaine Learning Lab. This part-time, 12-month role offers 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with at least 3 evenings monthly.

You will assist with assessments, process paperwork and online forms, answer phones, schedule testing, and enter student data into the program's database, while collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on a team.
• Ability to be flexible in a busy environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• On-site work is required.
• Ability to manage data entry and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with academic assessments and placement for ABE learners in-person and online.
• Work independently processing paperwork/online forms.
• Answer telephones.
• Assist with scheduling testing.
• Send and respond to emails.
• Collect, review, and enter student data information into the program's database.
• Collaborate with the team.
• Support front office duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
