Job summary

Columbia Heights Adult Education Center in Minnesota seeks an ABE Teacher for the Columbia Heights/Fridley area. This part-time role (133 days, 4.75 hours per day, 4pm–8:45pm) focuses on direct in-person instruction for adults learning English as a Second Language, level 2, with planning, assessment, attendance, records, and volunteer support.

Position runs under IELCE funding, requires licensure or MA TESOL/applied linguistics/bilingual education.

Qualifications

Use Zoom during online instruction, various online platforms, and resources, and implement the CCRS/ACES/NorthStar standards. Other duties as assigned. This position is funded through a multi-year grant, IELCE.
