Job summary

Miside in Detroit, MI seeks a part-time instructor to deliver English Language and GED reasoning lessons to adults and youth earning their High School Equivalency certificates. Classes will be conducted remotely or in-person, depending on the program.

The role requires a 4-year degree in Education or English, two years of teaching experience with adult learners, and a Michigan teaching certificate preferred. A driver’s license and reliable transportation are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English or other related field.
• Two years of experience teaching adult language learners.
• Valid Michigan Secondary Teaching Certificate preferred.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for day-to-day job performance.

Responsibilities
