Job summary

Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore seeks an experienced Abdominal Transplant NP or PA to join our Advanced Practice Team. Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing or PA program.
• Current Maryland NP or PA license.
• Board certification as Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP or PA.
• Minimum 2 years transplant experience preferred.
• Inpatient experience preferred for PAs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the evaluation process is complete and thorough.
• Coordinate and manage the care of pre/post-transplant patients while they are hospitalized.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
• Provide patient education on transplant procedures, medications, and post-operative care.
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives related to transplant services.
