Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Inpatient Abdominal Transplant Surgery team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. This dedicated night-shift, inpatient-only role offers 13-hour night shifts, weekends/holidays, and a night differential in compensation.

You will work within a highly specialized transplant program, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team while providing complex inpatient care with no operating

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current board certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Current or eligible for District of Columbia PA or NP licensure.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
