Job summary

Powerback is hiring a Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with children in ABA therapy under supervision. You will learn and apply ABA techniques to support skill acquisition and behavior modification, and ensure accurate documentation and billing.

The role requires a compassionate, patient approach and a willingness to obtain RBT certification. Training is provided if needed, with a focus on meaningful impact in the community.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a HS diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated passion for working with children, especially with neuro-divergent behaviors.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children.
• Reliable transportation to work locations.
• Completion of 40‑hour RBT training; if not completed, training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Works 1:1 with a child in ABA therapy under supervision.
• Ensures billing and documentation support services.
• Updates availability in the EMR and communicates changes.
• Maintains communication with Client Advocate and Supervisor.
• Adheres to BACB ethics in service delivery.

Skills
