Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services in Monterey Park, CA is seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental disabilities. The role offers paid training and the chance to earn certification with company support.

You will work under BCBA supervision, help clients develop social and communication skills, document progress with a mobile app, and implement goals from individualized Behavior Plans.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.
• Current CPR/FA certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors
• Document child progress and milestones using a mobile application
• Implement goals and programs in the individualized Behavior Plan designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts
• Providesbehaviorsupportservices and crisis intervention
• Follow instructions of the BCBA/Program supervisor
