Job summary

The Applied Behavior Center for Autism is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with ASD under the supervision of a BCBA. The role focuses on delivering evidence-based interventions and collecting data to guide treatment plans.

Qualifications include an active BACB RBT certification and experience with autism or developmental disabilities. Some travel for home or school visits may be required; schedule is Mon-Fri, 8:30am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification through BACB.
• Experience with ABA techniques preferred.
• Experience with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities.
• Ability to work in clinical/educational settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions.
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs.
• Promote and reinforce adaptive behaviors and discourage maladaptive behaviors.
• Provide direct care, including communication, socialization, academic skills, and daily living activities.
• Work closely with the BCBA to discuss treatment progress and client needs.
• Participate in team meetings, providing input about the clients’ progress, behavior, and development.
• Engage in regular communication with families to provide updates on client progress and reinforce strategies at home.
