Job summary

Precious Care ABA is hiring a Behavior Tech Rockstar to work one-on-one with children with autism in home settings in Edison, NJ. No formal ABA experience required; training and mentorship by experienced BCBA staff will be provided.

You’ll earn $20–$30 per hour with flexible schedules and a $500 sign-on bonus. Travel to client homes is required, and opportunities to pursue RBT certification are available as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and one ABA-related course (recommended).
• Experience in education or autism-related field (recommended).
• Ability to work hands-on with children.
• Knowledgeable about basic ABA terms (training provided).
• Knowledgeable about data collection software (training provided).
• Works collaboratively with coworkers and clients’ families.
• Follows supervisor directions and treatment plan, and asks questions when needed.
• Patient and compassionate, especially with challenging clients.
• Goal-oriented and organized.
• Consistent and reliable.
• Acts professionally in diverse environments.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.

Responsibilities

You’ll work one-on-one with children with autism in their homes , turning everyday moments into opportunities for learning and progress. No sitting behind a screen all day — this is a hands‑on role where every session is different.

What We’re Looking For

People who are reliable, patient, energetic, and enjoy working with children.

Experience working with kids is a plus, including babysitting, childcare, teaching assistant roles, camp counseling, coaching, or caregiving.

Ability to travel to client homes (valid driver's license and reliable transportation).
