Canopy Children’s Solutions in Mississippi is seeking an Associate Behavior Technician to provide ABA‑based services for children with ASD in clinic and community settings. The role requires maintaining an RBT credential, driving as needed, and collaborating with a clinical team to support families.

The ideal candidate will have 21+ years old, a valid MS license, and reliable transportation, with experience in clinical or educational settings and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a clinical or educational setting with children with developmental or behavioral challenges preferred.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Complete required training modules, competency check, and exam to obtain/maintain RBT within 90 days.
• Must be at least 21 years old, have Mississippi driver’s license, good driving record, insurance, and be willing to use personal vehicle.
• Personal vehicle must be in good condition and available daily for job duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA‑Based Individual Therapy in clinic and community settings.
• Provide ABA‑based group therapy as approved by supervisor.
• Maintain RBT credential.
• Maintain valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Prepare session materials before sessions and submit notes within 48 hours.
• Use behavior terminology in session notes.
• Refer questions outside RBT scope to supervisor.
• Communicate with families about concerns via notes or email.
• Maintain client records and session data accurately.
• Enter session data into the database daily.
• Prepare and organize program materials as directed.
• Participate in supervision bi‑weekly or as scheduled.
• Ensure toys are cleaned after sessions.
• Maintain organizational documentation.
• Collaborate with the clinical team on client issues.
• Provide safe physical intervention per MAB skills when needed.
• Assist in hygiene-related tasks for clients as required.
