Job summary

Children Making Strides is seeking Behavioral Therapists to provide ABA therapy for children with autism, ages 2-9, in home, daycare and center settings. You will create engaging learning experiences and draft progress reports for senior health professionals.

We emphasize child-led, play-based and joyful approaches to help children develop communication and social skills, while collaborating with a dedicated team and receiving extensive training and supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associates degree in a related field (or related experience with ABA and/or young children) preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license, a registered vehicle and active car insurance.

• Provide ABA therapy services to children at their homes or in our clinic, drafting reports to relay their progress to senior health professionals.
• Help children build vital life skills surrounding communication and socialization needs.

Physical Requirements

• Maintain close, continuous proximity to clients throughout sessions.
• Respond quickly to elopement attempts and behavioral crises, including physical intervention when necessary.
• Perform prolonged standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and floor-level work.
• Provide continuous, uninterrupted supervision of clients throughout scheduled sessions.
