Job summary

Graham Behavior Services, LLC seeks a dedicated Behavior Therapist to provide ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA in Marlboro Township, NJ. The role focuses on teaching language, play, and skill-based curricula in 1:1 settings with learners on the autism spectrum.

You will collect and graph progress data, document daily sessions, and implement evidence-based strategies to support growth across educational and community environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field, or pursuing such degree
• Minimum one year experience providing ABA services to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Experience collecting, graphing, analyzing, displaying and discussing data based progress
• Proven ability to develop effective working relationships with students, staff and families
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks/goals
• Demonstrates professionalism and ethical behavior

Responsibilities

• Provides intensive individualized ABA therapy services directed toward skill development in emotional, cognitive, behavioral, language, and interpersonal growth
• Uses ABA teaching, communication, and reinforcement procedures consistently
• Attends scheduled sessions and clinics and completes required documentation daily
• Delivers intervention as described in client’s Behavior Intervention or Treatment Plan
• Assists BCBA in devising strategies for skill acquisition or behavior reduction
• Informs BCBA of daily routine observations and needed program changes
• Maintains professional communication with BCBA and other therapists
• Monitors and reports signs of possible abuse to supervisor as appropriate
• Maintains confidentiality and ethical handling of student information
