Job summary

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center is seeking a motivated Behavior Technician for in-home ABA therapy with children. You will work one-on-one in clients' homes, implementing plans created by a BCBA and helping with communication, social and daily living skills.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), are available 1:00 PM–8:00 PM, and can travel within 25 miles. Paid training, mentorship, and ongoing clinical support are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Available a minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Afternoon/evening availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles from home for client sessions.
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

We're looking for reliable, motivated individuals who enjoy working with children and want hands-on experience in behavioral health. We'll support your development with paid training, clinical guidance, and mentorship throughout your journey.

You'll provide one-on-one ABA services to children with autism and developmental disabilities, helping them work toward individualized goals involving communication, social interaction, behavior, and everyday independence.

What is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach that helps children with autism and other developmental disabilities learn meaningful skills that support greater independence in their everyday lives.

Through personalized, engaging sessions, Behavior Technicians work one-on-one with children to strengthen communication, social, play, coping, and daily living skills. Using positive reinforcement and individualized strategies, they also help children develop safer and more effective ways to navigate challenging behaviors.

What You'll Do
