Job summary

Heartland Behavior is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our ABA team in Iowa. You will provide one‑on‑one ABA services in clients’ homes or community settings, implement planned interventions, and document progress with the clinical team.

Ideal candidates are passionate about helping children with Autism, patient, and able to maintain composure in challenging situations. Training is provided, and there are growth opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT certification required before working.
• Willingness to learn and passion for helping children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion and ability to stay calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one ABA services to clients using evidence‑based interventions.
• Work as part of a clinical team to implement skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment and engage with families.
