Job summary

Autism Therapeutic Services in Worcester, MA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavioral Technician to deliver ABA-based therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities. You will collect data, implement behavior plans, and collaborate with families and clinicians.

You will support daily living skills, participate in educational settings, and ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation while maintaining compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with autism or neurodevelopmental disabilities.
• Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavior management techniques.
• Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting for behavioral health interventions.
• Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients’ daily routines in home-based or clinical settings.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation, and HIPAA compliance standards.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
• Prior experience working in school environments or supporting individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and hygiene to promote independence and improve quality of life.
• Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans.
• Implement individualized behavior management strategies and ABA therapy protocols under supervision.
• Support clients in educational settings by applying teaching techniques aligned with special education principles.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistency and clarity in care plans.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling medical records and sensitive information.
• Document medical terminology accurately within client records and ensure compliance with professional ethical standards.
