Job summary

Autism Health Services is hiring Behavior Technicians to work with children with autism in Worcester, MA. You will provide 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while collecting data and maintaining sessions.

No RBT certification is required to start; we will support you toward becoming an RBT. BTs can start at $21–$24/hour, with part-time options and strong advancement potential within AHS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 18 years old.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Comfortable working actively with children.
• Able to follow clinical instructions and accept coaching and feedback.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Experience working with children, individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, education, childcare, behavioral health, or ABA is preferred but not required.
• Current RBT certification is highly valued.
• Must successfully complete required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in accordance with each client's treatment plan.
• Teach communication, social, play, daily living, and independence skills.
• Implement behavior-support strategies developed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate data during sessions.
• Complete timely and accurate session documentation.
• Participate in social skills and other clinical programming.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, fellow Behavior Technicians, families, and the AHS clinical team.
• Maintain a safe, positive, professional, and engaging environment for clients.
