Job summary

ABA Centers of Washington in Tacoma, Auburn, and Puyallup, WA, is hiring part-time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT/CBT). Starting rates are $28/hr for RBT and $30/hr for CBT, with BT at $26/hr. Final compensation is based on experience, training, and education.

Paid training and a clear path for advancement are provided. We offer mentorship, ABA Academy support to obtain RBT certification, and growth opportunities up to BCBA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.
• Preferred: experience in childcare, education, or related fields; experience with children or adolescents; prior exposure to ABA services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track Progress & Maintain Quality; Collect, organize, and document session data.
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families; participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.
