Job summary

Autism Center of Excellence in Chester, VA is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children under BCBA supervision.

The role emphasizes data collection, treatment plan implementation, and collaboration with caregivers/clinicians, with opportunities for professional development. Pay ranges $22–$27 per hour, typically Monday–Friday in-clinic hours.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification required, per job posting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between service locations when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Collect session data and complete documentation using the electronic data collection system.
• Support communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skill development.
• Follow individualized behavior intervention and safety plans.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and other team members to support client progress.
• Maintain professional and compassionate interactions with clients and families.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
