Job summary

Autism Center of Excellence in Chester, VA is seeking compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support children with autism through in-clinic ABA therapy.

You will work 1:1 under supervision of a BCBA, collect data, implement plans, and collaborate with families and care team. The role offers daytime hours, pay range $22-$27/hour, and benefits; prior experience is valued but new certs welcome.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between service locations when applicable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining appropriate communication with supervising clinicians.
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Collect session data and complete documentation using our electronic data collection system.
• Support communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skill development.
• Follow individualized behavior intervention and safety plans.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and other team members to support client progress.
• Maintain professional and compassionate interactions with clients and families.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
