Job summary

Chelmsford Public Schools is seeking an ABA Paraeducator for Harrington Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. The role supports students in our elementary Specialized Autism Program, providing 1:1 or 1:2 adult supervision and assistance with daily living activities, communication, social and motor skills, and academic tasks.

Applicants do not need prior ABA training but must be willing to learn ABA principles and collaborate with classroom staff to implement individualized supports

Qualifications

• Paraeducator to support students in elementary Specialized Autism Program.
• Must be willing to be trained in ABA principles.
• Ability to support 1:1 or 1:2 level of adult supervision and assist with ADLs, communication, social and motor skills, and academics.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or 1:2 level of support to students to access the school day.
• Support ADLs, communication, social skills, motor skills, and academics as needed.
• Collaborate with the ABA team and school staff to implement instructional goals.
