Job summary

ACES (Comprehensive Educational Services) in California is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager, Treatment Initiation to lead initial ABA assessments and set long-term objectives with families, using evidence-based ABA practices.

The role includes in-person or telehealth intake, coordinating with the treatment team, and guiding the transition from intake to active treatment to optimize client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA or related field; BCBA certification or clinical license
• 3+ years of clinical supervision as BCBA (5+ years preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience with ASD or similar needs (5+ years preferred)
• Comfortable working in home, community, school, clinic, and military base environments
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Provides timely and accurate assessments in clinic, home, community, or telehealth
• Uses evidence-based ABA assessment techniques
• Transitions clients from intake to treatment team and manages hours in first authorization
• Supports VP of Clinical Service Delivery and Assessment Coordinator with trainings
• Reviews treatment overview with family and updates care team
• Prepares and submits final ABA assessment report using templates
• Stays current on ABA assessment methods through trainings
• Reviews quarterly outcomes and contributes to clinical strategy
